A key component of our English curriculum is Drama. Every year, the junior and senior classes each put on a production as a learning experience, but also for the enjoyment of the rest of the student body and the surrounding community.
“Drama touches the heart of some students when ordinary methods of learning fail. Very often we discover an introvert-- a withdrawn, silent, self-deprecating student-- who comes alive on the stage and astounds teachers and fellow students alike with an ability to perform and a joy that transforms and gives a better sense of value in the student's own eyes and in the eyes of those around him.”
—Roshelle Wherritt, English and drama teacher.
