Crusaders Work at Food Bank

Forty four Corn Bible Academy students traveled to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma on Wednesday, May 10th to help process food for needy people in Oklahoma. The annual service project is a way for the students to serve others and learn about the needs of Oklahoma families.  One of six Oklahoman families require assistance with nutrition during the year.  The CBA students helped process frozen bulk peas that come in a large cardboard box on a pallet.  The students measured the peas into three pound containers, sealed them in airtight bags, and packaged the bags into boxes.  Each box contained 12 packages of the processed peas.  The students processed four thousand, one hundred and forty pounds of peas which is equivalent to three thousand four hundred fifty meals.
