CBA Students Sell Schnetka for Hurricane Victims
On Thursday, September 14, Corn Bible Academy students will participate in a multi-city effort to raise funds for those affected by the recent hurricanes in Texas and Florida.
Students and teachers will be selling baked goods, including the traditional German dessert schnetka, from 9 AM to 1:30 PM at Walmart in Weatherford; the Thomas Post Office; United, Homeland, and Kmart in Clinton; and United and Homeland in Elk City.
“Having normal educational days during the week is extremely important to our school, but our students and teachers also believe very strongly in the example of Jesus Christ to help those in need,” said Principal David Herren. “We will be partnering with well established disaster agencies to send money and supplies to affected areas. Donation flyers and large donation tax information can be accessed at each of the sites or by calling Corn Bible Academy at (580) 343-2262.”
